IBC 2022

9 - 12 September · Amsterdam - Netherlands
MwareTV launches new App Builder at IBC2022 to make designing TV Apps hassle-free. With the no-code App Builder Operators can now create their own unique Apps without the need for programming experience.

MwareTV will demonstrate at IBC2022 just how simple and practical it is to establish and deliver OTT and IPTV services. The latest version of the core TV management system (TVMS) includes a new App Builder which allows anyone to design a completely tailored and branded experience on any device.

The cloud-hosted IPTV OTT service from MwareTV provides all the functionality needed, from content acquisition to delivery, including apps for multiple platforms. With the App Builder you can now create user experiences with absolutely zero programming knowledge.

MwareTV’s App Builder supports all the common platforms, including iOS, Android and AndroidTV, TVOS, FireTV, WebOS, Tizen, WebTV and Lightning Framework enabled devices. There are templates to get operators started, with the ability to modify them completely, with 9 menu types, 33 home page widgets and a practically unlimited number of set-ups. All of this can be individually styled and branded for the look and feel you need, this paired with strong underlying functionality like extended metadata, recommendations and series linking, and automated parental control.

The broader updates to the TVMS include a redesign of the user interface to make it even more intuitive, as well as taking full advantage of the cloud hosting for scalability, reliability, access from anywhere and the lowest possible total cost of ownership (TCO). To help users build more engaging content, the system now allows direct connection from security cameras: where MwareTV is used to providing a complete television service for an apartment complex, residents can now view communal security cameras as a channel in the package.
